Is Iran’s Supreme Leader Killed? Missile Strikes Reported Near Khamenei’s Residence

Speculation has emerged over whether Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has been killed following reports of multiple explosions near his residence and office in Tehran. On Saturday (February 28), CNN reported during a live broadcast that several blasts were heard close to the highly secured compound.

Iranian media outlets stated that multiple explosions occurred in the Pasteur district of Tehran, an area known for its tight security and the location of Khamenei’s residence and official office. According to Fars News Agency, at least seven missiles reportedly struck the area.

However, there has been no official confirmation regarding Khamenei’s condition. Earlier, an Iranian official told Reuters that Ayatollah Khamenei was not in the capital at the time of the attack and had been moved to a secure location.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that a military operation in Iran has begun. In a video message, he stated that the objective is to eliminate what he described as an imminent threat posed by the Iranian regime and to protect the American people. He characterized Iran’s leadership as a dangerous and hostile group.

The situation remains fluid, and international concern is mounting. As of now, there is no verified or official confirmation of Khamenei’s death.
